After qualifying from the University of Birmingham in 2002, I spent 3 years working in general practice in London. Escaping the grime and congestion, I moved to the more picturesque climbs of the Northwest where I completed a Master of Science in Prosthodontics (Dentures, Crown and Bridgework) at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester, passing with distinction. Following this, I received intensive training in Minor Oral Surgery in Cambridge and completed a Diploma in Implant Dentistry (with distinction) from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London.
Dental lasers are a part of my every practice, and I was one of the first dentists in the UK to obtain a Fellowship in Laser Dentistry (Eastman Dental Institute).
I strive to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry and continue to improve my abilities. I am currently completing a Diploma in Endodontics (root fillings) and, due to my commitment to post graduate education, I have been awarded an Associate Fellowship of the College of General Dentistry.
I am a highly motivated, personable individual with a strong work ethic. I pride myself on my excellent technical and artistic skills, a continually improving level of clinical and academic knowledge, and the ability to tailor my knowledge and skill to deliver the highest level of care to every patient.
I am happily married, living in St Albans, and, in my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit, playing bass guitar and spending time with my three entertaining children!

I graduated from the University of Leeds in 1991 and I have worked in general practice since then, having spent most of my career in private practice.
I have been committed to maintaining up to date knowledge to enhance my professional experience and have completed a number of post-graduate courses. I am also qualified to provide Invisalign orthodontics. I have done a year long course in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, allowing me to provide cosmetic treatment to a very high standard.
I have also done several laser courses enabling me to use them in general dentistry. I provide a calm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to ensure that all my patients receive the highest quality of dental care in a stress-free environment.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and travelling and I am an avid reader. I am married with three children and have lived in Harpenden for the past 25 years.

I graduated from Kings College, London in 2011, and completed my training in the Oxford Deanery. I then went on to work at a family practice in Berkshire. During this time, I completed the post-graduate Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. This is a prestigious qualification that gives dentists additional skills for working in general practice. Following my time in Berkshire, I went to work in an exclusively private practice providing high quality dental care before joining the team here at Wayside. I am committed to furthering my knowledge and skills and have completed an MSc in Restorative Dentistry at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, which I passed with distinction. This enables me to provide complex restorative treatments. I have my research paper published in the British Dental Journal, which was approved after a stringent selective procedure. I have a passion for aesthetic dentistry and carry out smile designs and composite bonding. I am also trained in the use of dental lasers and an Invisalign provider.
I have a gentle and caring approach to dentistry, with a strong emphasis on minimally-invasive and preventative treatments. I place a great emphasis on patient care and comfort whilst maintaining a high level of excellence in my work.
Outside of dentistry, I treasure quality time with my husband and young children and enjoy good food and exploring new cities.

I grew up in Northumberland, graduated from Newcastle University in 2014, and then moved to London to complete my foundation training. Since then, I have worked in general practice in London and Brisbane, Australia, before returning to the UK in 2018 to work at Wayside.
I am committed to furthering my postgraduate knowledge and have passed the examinations to attain Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons. I have also completed a year-long certificate in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and have undertaken training in a variety of invisible orthodontics including Invisalign which I have been providing since 2017. I have most recently completed a four-year Master of Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at King’s College London, passing with Distinction, allowing me to provide complex and advanced care in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I now return to assist with the teaching on the course at King’s College London. I am also trained to use dental lasers.
I am a passionate dentist who is committed to providing the highest standard of care and place a strong emphasis on prevention and minimal intervention to help my patients optimise their oral health.
Outside of dentistry I live in St Albans with my wife and young son. I grew up in a French speaking household and am fluent in French. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, exercising, and a passionate supporter of Newcastle United.

I qualified as a dentist with honours from Cardiff University in 2015. Since then, I worked at a general dental practice in Essex, treating both private and NHS patients before moving to Wayside. During my time there, I was appointed as a Clinical Educator training Hygiene and Therapy students at the University of Essex. I furthered my dental education by completing the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and have also completed a master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute of University College, London which I passed with distinction. This gives me the ability to manage more complex dental cases. I carry out cosmetic tooth straightening as I am a Certified Invisalign provider and can offer the full range of treatments for smile makeovers. I practice minimally invasive dentistry and focus on caring for my patients by providing the highest quality of dental treatment, placing their comfort and satisfaction above all else. Outside of work, I enjoy playing various sports and keeping fit. I love to travel and explore new places and cuisines.

I discovered a passion for dentistry following a work experience scheme at school in 1987 and went on to work and qualify as a dental assistant. I gained my Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1994.
Since joining Wayside in 2015, I have trained in EMS Airflow Guided Biofilm Therapy and Robin Horton has introduced me to the incredible world of laser use in dentistry.
I completed my first laser training at Portsmouth University in March 2019. In April 2023 I attended the Academy of Laser Dentistry annual conference in Dallas and gained my Standard Level Proficiency in Diode lasers. I am also a certified laser safety officer. I can confidently treat gum disease, cold sores and aphthous ulcers and de-sensitise painful teeth with our EpicX Diode laser. I pride myself on working with nervous patients, allying their fears and gaining their trust.
I have called Harpenden home for over 25 years now and my two adult sons have grown up here. In my spare time I run and paddleboard.

I qualified as a dental hygienist at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1993. My aim is to help each patient achieve their oral hygiene goals through preventative care and regular treatment. I am actively involved in the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy, and I regularly attend courses to stay up-to-date in my clinical skills and knowledge, to provide my patients with the best treatment possible. I am trained in EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy.

I qualified as a dental nurse in 2004 and went on to complete a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, in 2011. During my time there I won the prize for “Most Outstanding work of a Dental Therapist 2009-2011”. I am trained to use dental lasers and in EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy. Outside of dentistry, I live with my husband and young son in Bedfordshire and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.

I have been a dental nurse for over 7 years, with experience working in private and NHS dentistry. I previously worked at the Royal London Dental Hospital as a part of a multidisciplinary team which involved collaboration with undergraduates, dental core trainees, post-graduates, specialist, consultants, QMUL administration team, senior lecturers and clinical leads. I am trained in dental radiography, and particularly enjoy the surgical aspects of dentistry, especially trauma cases. I enjoy teaching and assist Robin in training new users in the X-Guide Dynamic Implant system and dental lasers. I am passionate about providing high-quality care to patients and continually expanding my knowledge and skills in the dental field.

I started my career in dentistry as a dental nurse, and after qualifying I knew I wanted to progress further. I went on to study dental hygiene and therapy at Kings College London, qualifying in 2009.
I am passionate about helping my patients achieve good oral hygiene, and I regularly attend courses to keep my clinical skills up to date. I am trained in EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy.
I have lived in St. Albans with my husband for over 10 years, and we have two children. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, gardening and tennis.

I am passionate about continued learning and am enrolled on a course (November 2024) to use the diode laser in my treatments.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends and family and hot yoga/gym.
